If you have a small bathroom you can ascertain size by using optical illusion. If height is the concern then you can add height to bathroom by using vertical stripes. These can be in the form of paint or with wallpaper. Even tiles with vertical designs can be used right up to the ceiling. You can end it with a cornice to make the ceiling look higher.
